Well someone was bound to do it…
The memory address that contains the CoD4 XP has been located, and you can now modify it, making leveling up a much faster and easier process. This means that you can easily get the Commander Rank within a few hours of buying the game, and you can unlock all perks and weapons.
The memory address needed is: CBF0E68
You can use a tool such as Tsearch to edit the value of that address (your XP), so that you’ll only need one XP to get to the new CoD 4 rank.
Here’s how: open Tsearch, start a new script, enter the memory address, then enter in the XP you would like. Keep in mind – you’ll want to back up your Call of Duty 4 profile just in case something goes wrong – YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED!
More details: if you just want to quickly go up a level, take your current XP from the Rank screen in the multiplayer mode, then add the amount of XP you will need to go up a level. You’ll want to subtract one or two XP in order to make it easy to gain a level. Then, go online and kill someone, or get an assist – BAM! – instant level up, and possibly a new rank.
Overkill perk, here you come!
Seriously, though, I tested this method, and found it much more enjoyable to play through multiplayer the real way – it’s more of a challenge, and fun!

Please PLEASE tell me what parts I’m supposed to do, I’m not some cheater who wants to “get rich quick”. I recently installed windows vista and I then found out that the profiles are stored on the computer. I wasn’t that far but I was far enough to be really pissed off to find I’ve lost it.

Easy as hell Thanks: what you do is start up Tsearch then create a new script (just click on “Add new Cheat”) then type in CBF0E68 in the address box and then run CoD4 multi player. Once the game has started switch over to Tsearch and type the desired value. Also the “Type” has to be 4 Bytes.

Anyway to save your multiplayer stats? since they are not included within your profile files. Tried backup up ect, dont work. so what file do i need to backup in order to save my mp ranks? In case my game decided to bug crash and wipe mine again.

How did U make it?! I lsot my all ranks&perks because of shit infinity ward’s ranked servers and i would like to give my rank back but this program didn’t work @ me…I do everything same like spock wrote but I don’t know what’s my fault:SCan somebody tell me how he did?!

This is really retarded and if you do it punkbuster will catch you like they caught my friend. Try it at your own risk and if it works you will still suck anyway.

punkbuster certainly will not catch you as this is not really an in-game cheat, more of a local hack, as it is performed before entering an online game. that said, see above, I wouldn’t recommend doing this, but if you really think a shiny new 50cal and the overkill perk will get you that much further, then bring it on! find me on west coast servers – my name is string.

all you have to do is copy your profile open up the activision folder go to player folder copy that then reinstall and simple add folder back in main folder sorted this works

this is some crap my 14 year old cousin would do. whenever he gets a game, the first thing he does is install some dumbass hacks and cheats. so he can carry unlimited heal and magic potions and stuff like that in RTS’s and MMORPGs. .. or he downloads the solve and just follows all the instructions. what’s the point of playing if you’re gonna do that? he just sits in front of the pc like a zombie clickling the mouse. no brain activity. as a result, he’s a giant FKIN noob, and this laziness extends to knowing nothing about his computer, even though he’s used it for 8 years.
games are supposed to be challenging and make you think about how to solve a puzzle, or how to use a strategy to defeat the bad guy or your human opponent. just play the game and earn your rank. what’s wrong w/ you people?

Black models and weird glitches involving black objects to not appear properly have been addressed in the Call of Duty 4 v1.1 patch.
The patch is very easy to install, but if you get mss32.dll not found/problems, this fix for the mss32.dll problem in cod4 will help. -

Works fine. Patch changed the memory address though, but its not a mandatory patch. I used it since vista owned my profile and I had like lvl 32 or somethin in that area.

Well not that I would use this the first time around (I am level 48 currently). But I would consider this to power through the rank resets of pestige mode. Once you go through the ranks 10 times you get the ability to add a second attachement. Silencer and red dot sounds good to me!

I really cant get it to work, it isnt explained properly. I want to test this offline, so i can play with all the weapons.

im not a cheater, but the only reason I looked this up, is because i wanted all the weps available for lan parties at work

Start the game.
Alt tab out and start tsearch.
Connect to the COD4 running process.
Tab back into the game and goto your rank page and check your XP.
Tab back to tsearch and run a seach for your xp (4 bytes). There will be more than one.
Locate the one in location CBF0E68 and modify it.
If you cant figure out what to do after this you don’t deserve to have a computer lol.If you want to go up fast this does not help. You can not instantly put in 1 million xp and have maxed everything.
It can possibly be detected if server logs are checked. I mean someone going from level 1 to 55 in a day is impossible. -
Hear are the easiest steps to do this:
FOLLOW THESE DIRECTIONS TO RANK UP!!!!!
How to go from 1XP to 110,000+ XP and unlock ALL WEAPONS & get to COMMANDER (5 Star) in less than an hour! This is detailed so ask questions if you don’t understand.1- Download this program (tsearch) – http://www.timsvault.com/cheattools/tsearch.htm here is a link to tell you what Tsearch is – http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tsearch
2- Unzip tsearch into a folder on your desktop
3- Start COD4 then press ALT+TAB to come back to the desktop
4- Go into the folder where tsearch is and double click “TSearch.exe” to start the program
5- Press the “Open Process” button in Tsearch and point to your COD4.exe which is listed as “iw3mp.exe” you will see the small COD4 icon beside it. Click to highlight then press “ok”
6- Now under the “Easy Write” button in Tsearch you will see a blank white icon, click it. A box will pop open that says “new cheat” inside this box do the following
Under “TYPE” select “4 Bytes” (without quotes)
In the “Address” field put this “CBF0E68″ (without quotes) click “ok” and a new line should appear with an address, value and type.7- Go back into COD4 and click the “Rank & Challenges” button. Write down your current XP shown in the right top and then in the box directly under that write down XP needed to reach your next rank and ALT+TAB back out
Mine has 78794 for current XP and 4126 needed for my next rank. So break out the calculator and do the following.
Take current XP 78794 + XP needed 4126 and – 1 this will give you the value needed for your next rank. So my value would be 82919
8- Now that you have the number needed for your next rank go into TSearch and click beside the last number in the VALUE field, backspace all the numbers out. Now enter the new number you just got to reach your next rank, mine would be “82919″ without quotes. Then simply hit ENTER.
9- Now go back into COD4 and you will see your rank changed and you need “1″ point to get your new rank. Go into any game and kill ONE PERSON and you will have the new rank. Then exit the round, go back to the XP, get the new numbers and repeat over and over again until your finished!!
I know this looks hard but it is REALLY easy. Once you get it down it takes a little under an hour to go from lvl 1 to lvl 55. Again, if you have any questions just ask!

Isn’t the whole point of gaming, the gaming experience? Why then bypass that experience? So you have all the best weapons and perks? As many have said before me, if this is why your playing then your simply sad. I have been getting my ass handed to me the past few days but you know what? It was F***’n awesome, and in that time I have learned, ranked, perked and just had a great time. For those of you that have decided to use a cheat to play a game so be it. Think of it this way though, there are no cheats in life. You play the game as it is given to you and those of us that play it to its fullest reap its rewards. Game as you live. If you cheat in life as in gaming your fooling noone but yourself. Nuff said.
