To insert the following codes, enable the console from the in-game options. Press ~ and type in “seta thereisacow 1337”, pressing Enter thereafter. From here, type “spdevmap bog_a” and press Enter again. Then, you can insert the following cheats. this is how you do it

Works Fine, Personally, I just entered the command ( seta thereisacow 1337 ) into my \Call of Duty 4 – Modern Warfare\players\profiles\Name\config.cfg At the end (Open in wordpad ) and saved it… Now all ya need do is start the game open the command line an the menu and type in * spdevmap mapname * ie: “spdevmap bog_a

my Call of Duty error when i the cheat in the Console give….

If you are caught by an administrator using cheats they can ban you! I got banned in COD2 multiplayer for cheats. So be careful 🙂

This *almost* works for me, but:

1) after getting past the spdevmap bog_a, it’ll start the new game (that’s fine…)
2) I type ~, which brings up the console menu
3) I type in god (or whatever) and it always says ‘cheats are not allowed on the server’…
4) Most annoyingly, I can’t get out of the console menu. I tried hitting ESC, ~ again, and it always just sticks there, and I have no choice but to kill the program from memory.

Any ideas?

Ok lets say this if you use these cheats so be it it can lag or crash from time to time as the game is pushed on doing someting its not really meant to.
No trainer is needed stop ne lazy.

These cheats work i userd them work ok i onlu fk around with cheats when i am board or to see that eggs is inbederd in the same.

Go to menu, options, game options, enable it to true (or is it yes?), press tilde or console (~), type seta thereisacow “1337” , you don’t need to load spdevmap bog_a, then — type spdevmap , up above I believe someone mentioned the map names, I am not sure, but use one of them. I suggest if you are new, you use God mode for the first few minutes.

if you cant use cheats you are a dumb motherfucker you have to put a cheat in like this…….(`) to open console then ex. “/god” (godmode) make sure you have the / in front of the code here is alot more codes……

/rcon login (password) ~ Replace password with the rcon pass without brackets.

Kick/ban/msg players:

/status ~ Displays information for all connected players in the server.

/tell (player id) ~ Sends a message to a specific player in the server via console (the message will appear next to the name ‘console’).

/clientkick (player id) ~ Kicks a specific player from the server.

/kick (player name) ~ Kicks a player from the server except instead of using the id to identify the player you need to instead type out the players name (colours included).

/banclient (player id) ~ Bans specific player from the server.

/banuser (player name) ~ Bans player by name not id.

/tempbanClient (player id) ~ Temporarily bans a player.

/tempbanUser (player name) ~ Same as above just by name not id.

/unbanuser (player name) ~ Unbans a user by name *note* the easiest way to unban a player is to delete the players name from ban.txt which can be found in the server files located in the server’s FTP.

Changing the map:

/map (map name) ~ Type in the map name you want without the brackets. Some of the map names used are different to the console command names. To make things easier here is a list of map names:

/map_rotate ~ Loads the next map in rotation.

The above is just a list of the most common commands you will need to know as a server admin. There are however alot more commands than this. Maybe in another post i’ll list those too.

*EDIT* Remember to type /rcon before each command and not the command by itself. E.G /rcon map_restart

None of these cheats work.. I have CoD4 1.5. Can you help?? I can access the console but the only thing that seems to work is the map change commands.Can’t change sv_cheats to true and I get no error while doing a seta sv_cheats to true.

I’m stuck in the Rescue the downed Cobra pilot fo wich I have ony 90 seconds to kill a lot of guys. The difficulty of this part is a lot different from the previous levels. This game sucks because of this 😛

download the 1.6 patch dude and all of the cheats i put in work i use them everyday and its a / NOT A \ a / ok like thes for ex. god mode is /god

i only ever cheat if ive already finished the game and wanna have more fun
or if i get stuck but i get past the part i was stuck on then turn them off again..

i have a question.. all the cheats code are working. i also tried to get specific weapon lik :give mp5, give bertta, etc. but i still cant get M16 riffle.. i tried give m16. m-16. m16a4, etc but still wont worked.. anyone know what the code? please help.. thx…

anyway, All these cheats are real. Do NOT give you viruses, And are LEGAL if the server admin allows them. And you cannot use them online Cod4 if the Server ADMIN hasnt allowed console cheats.

You can fuck around with these cheats if you start ur own server (Doesnt have to be Devoted (which is online))
Start a map and open console, In my case Crossfire

/devmap mp_crossfire

NOW u can use all the cheats u like. Because u being the server admin has allowed cheats. Please note that once u do press enter after typing the Devmap command that you need to give time for the game to reload the map.
Don’t go annoying Clans on there servers if they will allow cheats or whatever.

If you would look this was made NOV 2007 which would mean its for like patch 1.4, 1.5, or 1.6 probably 1.4.

everybody thinking this is a cheat or scam is a dumbass, Ihad lots of fun with it, especially when you put in /player_sustainAmmo 1, then /give all , switch to your M14 with nade launcher, and put in /timescale 10 look at them fly! 😛 (just keep your mouse button pressed)

Try using sf_use_ignoreammo 1 to have infinite ammo
